I’m still plugging away at some problems. Getting some conjectures and ideas, but nothing too solid yet. But I hope it will shape up soon. I want to get another result out before I put the thesis together.
In the mean time, if anyone knows of a pen that works better than the stainless steel Zebra F-301, I’d like to hear about it. This thing is pretty much perfect, except for the one time that I bent the clip too much and broke it. Now I make a point to think of something else to do if I feel fidgety. It never needs convincing; it never smears; it doesn’t hurt to write with; it doesn’t have some stupid rubbery grip that not only doesn’t feel great, but falls apart in a few weeks anyway (picking those things apart was my old fidget before I got a Zebra F-301).
The only other problem I have with it is that apparently you buy black, blue, or 4-packs of black, blue, red, and green. Considering that I use mostly black and red, I don’t know what to do with the extra green and blue other than make a post about it here and hope someone wants to steal my green and blue extras. Let me know.
For some reason they think no one would ever grade with a ballpoint. They think you need a marker, because it’s great when you can’t even write between the lines without your e’s coming out as blots, and they want you to feel the friction in your spine with every stroke. No, I say. Give me a red Zebra F-301.
